Muheahkantuck, the river that flows both ways. Twice a day the Hudson grinds to a halt and changes direction. Pulled by the moon, she heads back toward her source, hidden high in the Adirondacks, Lake Tear of the Clouds.

In Eastern religion, the moment goes in the river and is gone forever. Along the Hudson, it comes back.
